Sapnaa Anilaa Shaah is one of the leading emerging names in Gujarati Music Industry. She has won 11 guitar competitions out of which 9 competitions in a row and has done HAT-TRICK of being GUJARAT CHAMPION in Guitar Competition (Open Category) & represented Gujarat State in National Youth Festivals Jan - 2010/11/12 & did many programs of her solo Guitar Performances in her tenure of First Five years of Guitar. She is FIRST & ONLY LADY OF GUJARAT for developing techniques of playing "Gaayaki Ang" & "JOD-JHAALA" of Indian Classical Music on a western instrument Acoustic Guitar. She is a Singer & can also play Seven different Instruments - Guitar, Keyboard, Sitar, Violin, Tabla, Mandolin & Flute.

         She is GUJARAT'S FIRST & ONLY INDIVIDUAL LADY MUSIC DIRECTOR / SOUND ENGINEER who is running a sound proof acoustic Phoenix Music Recording Studio in Surat, Gujarat since long which is totally designed and engineered by her own hardwork & understanding of Sound without any training/guidance from any institute or personality. She composed many single songs & background music of short films & plays. Along with that she is also teaching Playback Singing, Keyboard & Guitar.

         Her Debut Gujarati Feature Film as Music Composer/Director/Arranger/Programmer/Mixing-Mastering Engineer/Sound Designer (Foley/SFx) & Also Background Score is "DEVANG" - released on 17th March 2017. And right now she is working on two Gujarati Feature Films & One Hindi web series. And One Hindi Bollywood Film, Three Plays & Many short films are in pipeline.

         And mainly, HER BIGGEST INVENTION/CREATION IS A NEW INDIAN CLASSICAL TAAL "SAPTAJ" WHICH IS FORMATTED ON 11 BEATS. The meter of 11 beats is very tough and there are very rare taals like Rudra taal & Mani taal which are different in structure from her creation.

         She has received many honours & recognition for her dedicative personality & out of box approach in Music since always.

         Also recently she has been awarded as "Best Youth Icon" for being an inspiration to youth at 18th Cinelife Awards for all her talent and achievements stated above at such young age.

 

         currently she is busy with her two upcoming Films "Bhor & Morgue" for which she is doing Music, Background Score, Foley & SFx.
